Since I new to the whole wiki thing, I'd thought I'd try my hand at a post, and post a copy in the "Fur Books" section of the Library.

Please allow me to give a big fur-covered thumbs up to the book "Ladies in Furs 1940 - 1990" by Anna Municchi. This is a part of the 20th Century Histories of Fashion series published by ZanfiEditori in 1993. This book documents, as its title implies, the use of fur as a fashion from approximately 1942 to 1990. Lavishly illustrated throughout, its color and b/w photos document the many changing 'faces of fur' through those 50 years. Furs can be much more than jackets, coats and hats - here you find furs as shorts, pants, tops, and even a bride's fur of white mink! IMO it's a must have in anyone's fur library.

Ms. Municchi has published 2 other books on the history of furs in fashon: "Ladies in Furs 1900 - 1940" and "Men in Furs".

Check Amazon.com for availability - that's where I got my copy.
